At the 2-23-14 權益 Committee meeting, JCUAA approved to oppose SCA5 and authorized 權益Committee Coordinator 汪光中 to come up with a plan for the President to execute.

James(汪光中) spent time and did great ground work, he and I had the meeting with president Olivia and Tony Ding(president of IAPAC) present last night. The plan is as follows (these 2 things are to be done simultaneously):

1)  Sign Petition: CONCERNED CALIFORNIANS - the petition "California State Assembly: Vote NO to SCA 5!" on Change.org. ( it needs 100,000 signatures by March 18.  As of now, it has 74,346 signatures vs. yesterday's 67,890, it sore pretty fast.  We should make the goal).

2) To hold a Press Conference, tentatively on Friday, 3/7/14 at San Gabriel Hilton, time to be determined:

President Olivia will carry it out.  She is working on it already and let you know the progress.

We will do our best to have our voices heard.
